We did not create the world we live in, nor did we choose to be created ourselves. This is why we are not living a life that is written by us, we are a part of a game designed by others, a much bigger picture – The Survival Game. We were born into the survival game and although we may not always notice it, it is going on around us every second of every day. It envelops our lives like the air we breathe.
The survival game is not inherently bad. It has helped us survive and thrive as a species up until the present day. It is because of the survival game that we have been as successful as we have as a species.
Darwin’s theory of evolution can show that our success is due to natural selection, and the choice which changed it all is how we play the survival game.
Adaption and Evolution
The ‘reptile brain’ is a crucial part to our survival. Think about how much our body is doing at any given second; thinking, breathing, pumping blood, absorbing oxygen, maintaining body temperature and so forth. These are all things that we do without deciding to, this is the work of the ‘reptile brain’. There is a part of every person that is more like a machine than a human, and this is vital for us to survive.
Survival is not only hidden in the reptile brain, it is in every system of our body, in each and every cell. DNA itself knows how to survive, how to adapt and how to evolve. The survival game is prevalent in all areas of life.
Prevalence of the Survival Game
The Survival game is so prevalent that we are completely immersed in it from the moment we are born until the moment we die. Our body, mind and ego are all designed to react to any threat, real, or perceived. Survival is the basic motivation for all choices, so understanding the survival game is one step forwards in the bigger picture of life.
